FIIRO, GIZ and AMS Africa collaborate to train indigenous fabricators on the fabrication of MOCAPI.

The training aimed at enabling fabricators to replicate the MOCAPI prototype at a cheaper cost with improved efficiency for enhanced dissemination of the MOCAPI technology, the training had in attendance eight fabricators which cuts across the South-western states of Nigeria was held at FIIRO between the 21st to 25th September 2020

MOCAPI is an initiative jointly birthed by the Nigerian Government, through the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi, FIIRO, GIZ Nigeria on behalf of the German Government and Robert Bosch Ltd.( now called AMS Africa), Nigeria to design and develop a mobile garri processing plant that will enable women processors in the rural areas who do not have access to improved processing methods and equipment to upgrade production of garri at cottage level.
