Motorized grains dehulling machine was designed and fabricated for dehulling grains: Cowpeas, Maize, Sorghum, Millet, Locust beans, etc. FIIRO Motorised Grains Dehuller is an abrasive disc dehulling machine capable of dehulling cowpeas, maize, sorghum and similar grains. FIIRO Grains Dehuller consists of a dehulling barrel lined with Teflon sheet, some abrasive discs, and an aspirating unit for separating the chaff/hulls from the dehulled grains. Special features of the dehuller include:  in-place cleaning, batch operation and complete discharge of product after each batch operation. The machine is easy to operate and can be operated by women.

FIIRO fabricated Grains Dehuller has a Dehulling Efficiency: 67% – 83%, Yield: 74% - 80%, Dehulling time/batch: 2 min or less depending on product type and degree of debranning. Its Capacity (Throughput): 120Kg/hr

A 5hp electric motor is used to powered FIIRO Grains dehuller. One (1) Operator can operate the machine effectively.

The frame structure is of angle mild steel. The Main shaft rotates at 2000 rpm. To operate the machine, the grains are fed into the dehulling chamber through the hopper while the machine is running, dehulling takes place as the material comes in between the rotating discs and the dehulling barrel. The dehulled grain is separated from the chaff/bran, through the cyclone and the dehulled clean grains are collected through the discharge chute.
